Visual Stories
I believe that photography and imagery have the power to communicate powerful stories and ideas that speak louder than what is visually represented.
I actually hesitate to call myself just a photographer nowadays — because my work here is not exactly photography, but actually something more.
Sometimes, these visual ideas transcend reality, but sometimes, they remain comfortably in the reality and the mundane. Most importantly, what I always aim to invoke is a memorable, visceral reaction from a viewer.
Much of my work is often sculpted into a rich story through elaborate conceptualization, planning, execution and (sometimes) manipulation.
